About Me.
I'm a Physician Assistant with a creative soul—someone who believes deeply in the healing power of words. My love for poetry began in adolescence, during a time when I was navigating the shadows of depression. Writing became my sanctuary, a way to process pain and make sense of the chaos inside.
Over the years, my path in medicine has brought me face-to-face with the raw, human experience of mental illness—bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and more—and I’ve seen firsthand how creativity can become a powerful outlet for emotion. I don’t just understand these struggles clinically; I live them personally. I know what it means to wrestle with the mind and still reach for beauty through the storm.
For me, poetry is more than expression—it’s survival, connection, and sometimes, even hope. Out of a broken mind can come something breathtaking. And I write to remind others (and myself) that we are not alone, and we are not actually broken—we are simply becoming.
